Six month buying plan for Nordstrom sneakers category

 

The purpose of this project was to create a 6-month buying plan while making a deep analysis of the company and an external examination of the market. We decided to base our product category for the buying plan on women sneakers and athletic shoes. The quantity per each item is based on research of sneakers trends, meaning that the sneakers that will be treading for the next season will have a higher percent in the planned buying budget.

The athletic shoe market has an expected growth of 7.8% annually throughout 2017-2021

  • Worked closely with teammates to analyzed Nordstrom currents sales in the specific category in order to developed the six month buying plan
